Kiriti, an Ottawa resident passionate about shoes, wanted to upgrade her mudroom. She sought out a skilled cabinetmaker in Ottawa to create a custom-built solution. The challenge was an awkwardly laid-out and compact room, but we rose to the occasion with an innovative design.

We constructed the mudroom using white shaker cabinetry accented with matte black handles and hooks. Kiriti specifically requested ample shoe storage and a comfortable seating area to put on her shoes. Our design included a seating area with a matching countertop and three drawers underneath, providing plenty of storage and a convenient place to sit.

To maximize the space, we custom-built an L-shaped cabinet that wraps around the wall, incorporating overhead open unit shelving for additional storage. This design allows Kiriti to easily grab clothes and shoes, sit comfortably to dress, and keep her mudroom organized and stylish.

Kiriti now enjoys a beautifully functional and organized mudroom that perfectly meets her needs.
